Information:

The Town of Ulster Recreation Department sponsors a CHILDREN'S SUMMER CAMP PROGRAM each summer.  Registration usually takes place in June.  Click here for more information.


Hours:

Open May 1st - October 31st

Times:  Until Memorial Day and after Labor Day, 8:00 am - 7:00 pm

            Memorial Day - Labor Day, 8:00 am - 9:00 pm

Restrictions:
NO DOGS OR ALCOHOL ALLOWED IN TOWN PARKS
Facilities:

Post Park is situated on the scenic Hudson River in close proximity to the Kingston/Rhinecliff Bridge. It offers picnic tables and charcoal BBQ stands along the waters edge as well as a playground, basketball court, soccer field, volleyball court, bocce courts, horseshoe pit, fishing platform, bathroom facilities and two pavilions.  The pavilions, one large and one small, may be reserved by calling the Town Clerk's Office: 845-382-2455.

LARGE:

36 picnic tables -- 8' long each  

Accommodates up to 250 people

Electric

Kitchen use with counterspace; sink; refrigerator

Covered barbeque area

 

SMALL:

10 picnic tables -- 6' each

Accommodates up to 60 people

Electric

Small barbeque area

Reservations:

Reservations for the two pavilions can be made through the

Town Clerk's Office (845) 382-2455

 

 

Reservations for the park pavilions begin on January 2nd of each year. Reservations fill very quickly. We recommend calling in January if you wish to secure a specific date.

 

We DO NOT accept reservations for the following year.
