Effective Immediately

In order to comply with the "New York State Electonic Equipment Recycling and Reuse Act", that was signed into law on May 28, 2010, the Town of Ulster has entered into an agreement with Regional Computer Recycling & Recovery.  This agreement allows users the opportunity to recycle electronic waste in an environmentally reponsible manner.  The Town of Ulster Transfer Station will accept, at NO COST to the Transfer Station permitted users or the Town of Ulster, the following from the list of covered Electronic Equipment:

 Computers Scanners
 Keyboards & Mice DVR's
 Printers Portable Digital Music Players
 Ink Cartridges Digital Converter Boxes
 Small Scale Servers               DVD Players
 Speakers Cable or Satellite Receivers
 Televisions UPS (Battery Backups)
 Small Batteries Telephones
 VCR's Electronic or Video Games
 Fax Machines Consoles
