Public Hearings Scheduled for Thursday, April 16

Two Public Hearings have been scheduled for Thursday, April 16 at the Ulster Town Hall, 1 Town Hall Drive in Lake Katarine.

7:15 - Small Cities Community Development Block Grant Program Application

7:30 - Round 3 Restore NY Communities Initiative Municipal Grant Program Application

At 7:15 the Town of Ulster will conduct a public hearing to obtain the input of citizens, particularly low and moderate income persons, with regard to the Small Cities Community Development Block Grant Program(CDBG).  The CDBG program is administered by the NY State Housing Trust Fund, Office of Community Renewal.  This will be an informational public hearing, citizens are invited to participate in the development of the Town's Community Development applications including assessing need and priorites.

The 7:30 public hearing concerning the application to the Empire State Development Corporation for a Round 3 Restore NY Communites Initiative Municipal Grant.  The hearing will provide an opportunity for the Town of Ulster to provide comment on the properties listed on the Property Assessment List that are in need of demolition, deconstruction, rehabilitation or reconstruction.
