Town of Ulster to Hold Public Hearings

The Town of Ulster will hold four Public Hearings on Thursday, October 2nd at the Town of Ulster Town Hall:

 

  • 7:05     To establish the Ulster Pfeiffer Center for Business Innovation, special use permit
  • 7:10     Darien Lake Kingston, LLC dba Holiday Inn Express & Suites, special use permit and site plan approval
  • 7:15     Adoption of a local law: Testing of Water Meters
  • 7:20     Removal of unsafe structures at 44 Lake Road

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

 

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a Public Hearing will be held on October 2, 2014 at 7:05 PM at the Ulster Town Hall, 1 Town Hall Drive, Lake Katrine, New York, before the Ulster Town Board on the consideration of an application from SUNY Ulster to establish the Ulster Pfeiffer Center for Business Innovation for a permit in a RC - Regional Commercial Zone.  "Colleges" in "RC" zone are subject to a special use permit. The proposed location is 101-103 Frank Sottile Blvd, SBL 48.8-1-1.212, on 7.8 acres.

 

At this time all interested parties will be heard at said public hearing, or by written statements received prior to the close of the hearing.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

 

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a Public Hearing will be held on October 2, 2014 at 7:10 PM at the Ulster Town Hall, 1 Town Hall Drive, Lake Katrine, New York, before the Ulster Town Board on the consideration of an application by Darien Lake Kingston, LLC dba Holiday Inn Express & Suites for a special permit use in a HC - Highway Commercial Zone. The proposed location is 1851 Ulster Ave, SBL 48.8-1-1.212, on 4.3 acres.  They are seeking a special permit and site plan approval for construction of a 103 room, 4 story Holiday Inn Express & Suites Hotel along with associated parking, access landscaping areas and utility infrastructure.

 

At this time all interested parties will be heard at said public hearing, or by written statements received prior to the close of the hearing.

Notice of Public Hearing

 

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Ulster Town Board will conduct a public hearing on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at 7:15 PM at the Town of Ulster Town Hall, 1 Town Hall Drive, Lake Katrine, New York, upon the adoption of a local laws providing for the adoption of section 177-28 (G) of Chapter 177 of the Town Code : Testing of Water Meters. 

 

Copies of the proposed local law are available for viewing at the Ulster Town Clerk's Office during normal business hours and on the town website.  All interested parties will be heard at the said public hearing, or by written statements received prior to the close of the hearing.

TOWN OF ULSTER

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

 

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a public hearing will be held by the Town Board of the Town of Ulster on the 2nd day of October, 2014 at 7:20 p.m. at the Town Hall, 1 Town Hall Drive, Lake Katrine, NY 12449 regarding the filing by the Code Enforcement Officer of the Town of Ulster of a report in writing with the Town Board of the Town of Ulster containing her findings and recommendations regarding certain structures situate on premises at 44 Lake Road in the Town of Ulster, designated by Tax Map No. 39.20-2-24 reputedly owned by Jesse W. Rodriguez and Sara K. Gildersleeve, in which report said Code Enforcement Officer states her opinion that said structures are unsafe and dangerous to the public and recommends their immediate removal or securing against unauthorized entry and further recommends that the structure which is incapable of being safely repaired be removed from the premises.

Securing or removal of such building shall commence within thirty (30) days of service of the notice and shall be completed within sixty (60) days thereafter, unless for good cause shown such time shall be extended.

 

In the event of neglect or refusal to comply with the order to secure or demolish and remove the building, the Town Board is authorized to provide for its demolition and removal, to assess all expenses thereof against the land on which it is located and to institute a special proceeding to collect the costs of demolition, including legal expenses.

 

Any resident of the Town of Ulster is entitled to be heard at such public hearing.
