Storm Update for Thursday

The State forecast, which is one of the computer models we generally use, is calling for the snow to start around daybreak on Thursday, 2/13/14, and snow until Friday morning around 6:00am.

Predictions call for total accumulations of 12"-18" of snow with the chance of some mix precipitation during the day on Thursday.

Please keep your vehicles off the roads during the storm and during the over night so we can keep the roads passable and clear. Also, keep all garbage and recycling containers out of the roadways, we will not stop to move them!!!!  Please be advised that there will be snow in your driveways from us plowing the roads.  We will not be back to clear the snow from your driveway.

The Town of Ulster Highway Department has been preparing for this storm all week by doing snow removal on the narrow and congested roads within the Town of Ulster. If you need to contact our office please call (845) 338-0193 or by email at fpetramale@townofulster.org.

Please be safe if you must travel the roads. Check on your neighbors and elderly to make sure they are alright during the storm.

Thanks you,

Frank C. Petramale
