2007 Construction of a Full Court Basketball Court at Post Park

The Town of Ulster Highway Department spent about a week in July at Post Park.  The crew expanded the basketball court from a half court to a full size court.  This job included excavating 12" of grass and clay and installation of the necessary stabilizing fabric, shale and stone dust.  After everything was compacted, a base coat of blacktop was applied to the new area, followed by a top coat of blacktop over both the old and new base.  Topsoil, seed and mulch was then applied on all areas affected by the project.
