Responsibilities:

The Town of Ulster Highway Department has the responsibility of maintaining 73 miles of  Town roads as well as the job of keeping those roads accessible for vehicular traffic every day, in all kinds of weather.

 

In addition, the Highway Department is also responsible for the care and maintenance of:

  • Rider Park & Boat Launch
  • Three Mini Parks on: (1) Jeanette Lane, (2) Esther Place, and (3) Elmendorf Drive
  • Wallkill Rail Trail Park & Ride on Rockwell Lane and Route 32
  • Four Town Cemeteries

The Highway Department regular hours are:

 

** Monday - Friday, 6:30am - 2:30pm**
