Town Of Ulster

Transfer Station

Miron Lane
(845) 336-0311

The Transfer Station is a drop-off for household trash, recyclables and other items and requires a "Permit". Some items may be left at no charge, other items require a fee.  For more information:

  • "Transfer Station Town Code Regulations" - scroll to "Documents" below

In addition, the Town of Ulster Transfer Station allows for the disposal of "Electronic" waste.  New York State signed the "New York State Electonic Equipment Recycling and Reuse Act" into law on May 28, 2010.  Scroll to "Documents" below to read about the items permitted users may discard, at "no cost", at the Ulster Transfer Station.

NEW for 2016!

The Town of Ulster Transfer Station will change to a SINGLE STREAM RECYCLE program.  You will no longer be required to separate your recyclable items.  REVIEW the Town of Ulster Single Stream Recycling Program "Document" below.  There is NO CHANGE to the way household trash is handled.
