Responsibilities:

The Transfer Station is a drop-off for household trash, recyclables and other items and requires a "Permit". Some items may be left at no charge, other items require a fee.  For more information:

 

In addition, the Town of Ulster Transfer Station allows for the disposal of "Electronic" waste.  New York State signed the "New York State Electonic Equipment Recycling and Reuse Act" into law on May 28, 2010.  Scroll to "Documents" below to read about the items permitted users may discard, at "no cost", at the Ulster Transfer Station.
